Round up of 2023
2023 saw us move from Load Street in Bewdley to Severn Side South, Bewdley.
The team increased in size – Carl Beckingham joined the team at the end of 2022 and has gone from strength to strength, building his expertise in Wills and Probate.
Sophie Wilding has been with the firm since early 2021 and passed her IPW Will Writing exams in 2022. Sophie too has been building on her expertise in advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney and Wills. Sophie has been an integral part of the business since joining the firm 3 years ago.
Over the last 12 months we have welcomed many returning clients and new clients to our wonderful state of the art offices at Severn Side South overlooking the beautiful River Severn.
At Westons Wills and Probate we assist our clients in planning their succession. It is a role which can sometimes be sobering when witnessing the last few weeks of clients’ lives.
In 2023 we had the pleasure and privilege of carrying out the wishes of a client’s Will and delivered an amazing legacy to the Midlands Air Ambulance at their new headquarters in Shifnal. It was a privilege to be shown round the headquarters by Pamela Seniore, Legacy Executive and Karen Baker, Head of Clinical Operations. I was very thankful that the CEO Hanna Sebright and Chairman of the Trustees and former solicitor Keith Marriott made the time to meet with me so that I could share some stories of the Testatrix who very kindly left the legacy to the charity.
The same Testatrix also left an amazing legacy to Equine Market Watch of Bromyard.
2023 was a fabulous year for the business.
I’m looking forward to 2024 as we will be celebrating 10 years of being in business of which 6 of those years have been in Bewdley serving Bewdley residents.
